I have a weakness for cute little thrift store finds, especially when they’re slightly grandma-ish and have that cozy cottagecore charm.

And this little duck (goose?)? I couldn’t leave it behind! 😂

I spotted this adorable little duck bowl while thrifting and immediately fell in love! I was on FaceTime with my sister and kept asking her whether I should get it or not.

Did I have any actual use for it? Nope. But I’ve always wanted to fill my home with little decorative pieces. You know, the kind of “clutter” that makes a home feel cozy, lived-in, and full of personality.

And the best part? It was only $3!

Did I know exactly what I was going to use it for? Absolutely not.

Did I buy it anyway? Of course. 🦆

There’s just something about finding little pieces like this that makes thrifting so much fun. You never really know what you’re going to come across, and sometimes the things you weren’t looking for end up being your favorite finds.

For now, my little duck (or goose?) is sitting pretty as decor, but I’m still trying to figure out what to use it for. Some say put candy in there? Others say use it in the bathroom for Qtips or Floss.

Maybe a trinket dish? A place to keep little accessories? Or should I just let it be the cute little decorative bird that it is?
