I’ve been slowly collecting little things to make my space feel a bit cozier.

I’ve always loved spaces that feel lived-in. Not necessarily perfectly organized or matching, but filled with little things that make you happy. A little decorative clutter and some personality.

I’m not trying to completely redecorate overnight. I’m just picking up little things here and there that catch my eye, and slowly figuring out where everything belongs.

And honestly? That’s half the fun!

A Cozy Little Glow 💡

Okay, this might be one of my favorite Goodwill finds!

I’ve always loved the styles of Tiffany lamps. They’re actually one of the things I have pinned on my Pinterest “Thrift” board, hoping that one day I’ll stumble across one while thrifting.

And then I found this little beauty at Goodwill! 😂

Now, I’m pretty sure it was originally meant to be part of a hanging light fixture, but I had a different idea. Why not turn it into my own little DIY fairy lamp?

I love how the stained-glass-style panels glow when it’s lit up, especially at night. It gives my little corner such a magical, whimsical feeling. Almost like something you’d find tucked away in a fairy cottage. 🧚‍♀️

I paired it with some flowers and books, and now it’s one of my favorite little spots in my room. (I use it both, as a little standalone lamp and/or placing it on a candle stand for some extra height!)

Sometimes the best thrift finds aren’t necessarily what you were looking for, but they end up being exactly what you needed!

A Little Texas Charm 🤠🌻

Not everything I pick up necessarily fits one specific aesthetic, and I’m perfectly okay with that!

I’ve also been adding some Texas-inspired pieces to my bathroom, including this cowboy boot decoration and the cutest little cow figurines. I’ve been trying to redecorate my bathroom to this “Texas/Western” theme so this was the perfect find! I found this gem at Walmart during one of their clearance sales and got this for $4!

And of course, I couldn’t forget these two little cow figurines. I mean, look at their tiny hats! 😂 Found these couple of cuties at Dollar Tree!

But here’s another Walmart find that I decided to give a completely different purpose: this little cowboy hat planter for $2 during the clearance sale!

Now, was it meant to hold a plant? Yes.

Am I using it to hold my microphone instead? Also yes. 😂🎤

The best part is, these finds weren’t costing me so much money! In total, these items were less than $10 🙌🏻

I’m slowly realizing that decorating doesn’t always have to mean using things exactly how they were intended. Sometimes you find something cute, bring it home, and figure out what to do with it later.

And apparently, my decorating style includes a little Texas charm and a microphone sitting in a cowboy hat. 🤠🎤
